1) Who this applies to (Age 17+)

This Privacy Policy explains how Heny Team ("Heny", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Heny mobile application and related services (the "Service").

The Service is intended for users who are at least 17 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If you believe a user under 17 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

2) Information we collect

2.1 Account information (provided by you)

  • Name
  • Username
  • Email address

2.2 Customer support content (provided by you)

  • Messages, attachments, and any information you choose to share when you contact support

2.3 Photos and optional text you submit for AI review (provided by you)

  • Photos/images you upload to receive an AI-powered photography evaluation
  • Optional text you provide with the upload (e.g., a prompt, description, or questions)

We do not use your photos for facial recognition, biometric identification, or building biometric templates. We do not attempt to identify you or others in photos.

2.4 Location information (with your permission)

  • Precise location or approximate location, if you enable location permissions

You can control location sharing through your device settings.

2.5 Automatically collected information

  • Device information (device model, OS version, language, app version)
  • Usage data and analytics (feature usage, interactions, performance metrics)
  • Crash logs and diagnostic data (to improve reliability)

2.6 Cookies, similar technologies, and web beacons

If the Service includes web-based components (such as embedded web views), we and/or our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure performance and reliability. You can often control cookies through your device or browser settings.

3) How we use information

  • Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and keep you signed in
  • Personalize your experience (preferences and settings)
  • Generate AI-powered photography evaluations and creative feedback
  • Improve and develop the Service (debugging and analytics)
  • Protect safety, security, and integrity (fraud prevention and abuse detection)
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights

We do not sell your personal information.

4) AI features and content processing (on our own servers)

  • Processing location: uploads are processed on servers controlled by Heny Team.
  • No third-party sharing for AI processing: we do not share your uploads with third parties for AI processing, analytics, advertising, or other purposes.
  • Deletion after processing: uploads are deleted promptly after processing is completed and results are returned to you.
  • User control: you decide whether to upload and generate AI results.

AI-generated evaluation results are presented to you in the app. By default, your photos are stored locally on your device. We do not use your uploaded photos to train models or for marketing purposes.

5) How we disclose information

We disclose information only as described below and follow a "minimum necessary" approach.

5.1 With your consent

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so.

5.2 Service providers (processors)

We may share information with trusted vendors that perform services on our behalf (such as hosting, app stability analytics, customer support tooling, or security services). These providers are authorized to process information only under our instructions and must protect it.

Note: Photos and accompanying text submitted for AI review are not shared with third parties for AI processing.

5.3 Legal requirements and safety

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, or government requests
  • Protect the rights, property, and safety of Heny Team, our users, or the public
  • Prevent or investigate fraud, security, or technical issues

5.4 Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

6) International data transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.

7) Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest (where appropriate)
  • Access controls and least-privilege permissions
  • Regular security audits and monitoring
  • Backups and recovery procedures

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

8) Data retention

  • Account deletion: delete or anonymize within 30 days, unless retention is required by law
  • Usage analytics: up to 12 months
  • Customer support content: up to 6 months after resolution, unless longer retention is needed for legal or security reasons
  • AI uploads: deleted promptly after processing is completed

9) Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict/object, and withdraw consent (where applicable).

10) Third-party services and links

We may update this Policy from time to time and will update the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Policy to the extent permitted by law.

12) Governing law and dispute resolution (binding arbitration)

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Heny Team's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy will be resolved by binding arbitration, except where prohibited by applicable law.
